YUEN OPTOMETRY
Design and fabrication of a bentwood display case/ seating for an optometry practice and store in Oakland. To create the installation, we heated Poplar strips in a custom steambox and then curved and clamped them along hand made molds. Design and fabrication fed each other as we experimented with processes at the shared studio space at American Steel in Oakland.
